Today is Holy Saturday, when we remember the Savior of the world resting in His grave. He awaits His rising from the dead, and reminds us that we all will await our resurrection at the end of time.
Tomorrow’s schedule is slightly different. There will be no Bible class or Sunday school. Instead, we’ll gather at 9 for Easter breakfast. It’s a time of joy, fellowship, and celebration.
You haven’t been before? Well, then, a special invite to you and those you love! There will be plenty of food, but if you have something special you’d like to bring for the meal, you’re welcome to do so, but there’s no requirement. Just come and enjoy the company of God’s people.
Following breakfast, there will be activities for the children. At 11, we’ll celebrate our Lord’s rising from the dead with a festival Divine Service with Holy Communion.
